The sooner a move to a currency system and renown rank gear the better.
Also renown contribution particularly for healing will improve the game.
As it is I and most others I see have no interest in helping those of their realm. Gettin DB's is the only thing that matters. I have let people die and seen others do the same so that they can the kill those they were fighting. Gear drops might have brought people to rvr but its also altered their mentality.

You play during the wrong time then Telen, im sorry for that. I myself have not seen such behaviour as you describe. I have seen multiple random order pugs come to one anothers aid (including mine). But then again you are a little bit of a pessimist lately on the forum :P

You usually lead a zerg though Eiger Im talking proper smallscale.

Case in point. The other day I was on a low level WP. I was just buming around rvr waiting for a pop and started healing a couple of dps that didnt have a healer around just as they were about to die from some des group. I wouldnt have done it but was low level and couldnt have gotten anything out of it not and was just waiting for pop anyway. I was thanked as they were surprised as no one had been bothering healing them oog before. They even gave me a starter mount and 15g. I didnt know to feel bad or not as they obviously though I was just some low level with no gold. I took it though thinking of it as payment for the other times I have healed people and got no renown.

Please remember healers get no renown so if you want heals pay them.

Ive also lost count of the time Im just about to kill someone and some zerg rides in to steal the db. Of course I do the same.

The flipsids is no good healer is going to join pug warbands and heal, becuase they will either be a pre, or be raking in the sweet, sweeeet oop healing RR.

IDK maybe I phrased that a bit wrong, but I remember on live I leveled my engineer to rr 80 almost solely through OOP healing in sc's and following around zergs w/ bugmans. Good players will still often find themselves at times without proper groups, and OOP leeching off a pug wb is (was) very lucrative.

The current deathblow system seems to have just as many faults as the system on live, if not more so. There is quite a bit of rage going around about kill stealing.

Prety much this.Even on live I was trying to avoid zergs as possible. When no guildmates or friends were online I rather went solo to other areas, with high AAO and gank solo, rather than joining big zergs. Ahhh good old times in T3 in melee train party with Kss :-)
