He isn't suggesting, I'm adding anything new to the rift debate, he was saying I clarified his point about premades getting rifted inward. I don't think premades getting rifted inward is a counter to rift ignoring los tho. In fact, I think the ability for a group to abuse rift to get their group inside the keep is another argument for fixing it.Renork wrote:Point of the thread is to suggest a temp. solution before introducing t3. Genisaurus already stated this has been a topic of discussion and that they are looking into it. Great, woohoo. Suzu isn't adding anything new to this thread, there are multiple ways of abusing magnet/rift in our current state.
The point is prevention, which is a term you're not familiar with. Telling people to just "deal" with it and get good is just part of your self-righteous egotistical personality. Luckily, it seems not a lot of people (if any) share your point of view in this particular case.

Back to the topic at hand, my suggestion for a temp fix would be as such;
Disable rifting while INSIDE the keep on the bottom floor within x amount of feet of the door. Once the door is down, enable the ability to rift.
I think you should leave rifting enabled outside the keep even while the door is up. Defenders have no reason to stand near the door inside, unless they are abusing the lack of los to aoe the dps on the door.
