Aza, lets me clarify. Quite a few of us invested the time because for quite a few of us WAR was always about roaming or scs, whatever solo or in 6man. As such, when there is a feature introduced which forces us to do the keep zergfest, we are trying to get over with this crap as fast as possible and then get back to what we are playing WAR far.
I'm well aware of your particular preferences; I don't like zerging either. What I do not understand, however, is how your post invalidates my point in any way. You can want to get something over with as quickly as possible AND know the ORvR situation was screwed up, having the intention of milking this.

I don't know what happened to the wipe nor the abuse. But players please stay calm as the game developers are trying hard to rebuild the game and make it a fun place to play.

Saw this coming a mile away, haha.. Didn't even bother to get into that destro farm last night. Keep up the good work. The only way this game will be successful is with small experiments like this to see how it effects RvR and adjust. Shitty players will always be here asking for the easy road or complaining because they'll do whatever it takes to get an advantage ingame.

Hi everyone, I think this is my first post here, in spite of being and playing here for what seems like years now.
The post from Joan above says much the same as Im thinking too.
Im so happy to be playing WaR again, I just dont care about medallions, if I get them I get them, if I dont then I dont. I play to have fun and play this great game that the devs spend so much of their free time on to GIVE to us.
The highlight of last night for me was the opening of T2 Elf ... so many memories there over the years.
I began by playing my Sorc Wytchery, but soon switched to my Noob lvl 13 Magus Scarlettae, and had a blast ... and died a lot lol

I know about hours farming by many people etc, but in the end Destro and Order are the one and the same community, and that community only exists because of all the time and patience of the guys who are steadily putting our game back together again.

What Im saying is, we need to have patience too, because there will be more problems to overcome as the game moves forward.

Wytchery 26 Sorc

Scarlettae 14 Magus

I had 2 pieces of the set and I agree with your decision to remove the stuff until there is a btter way to earn them.
tbh, the hole circle zerg last night wasn't fun and didn't feel good at all.

Although, the lost of the talis in those item was pitty but **** happens (specialy when you play destro ;)

brilliant logic
Order win -> Destro problem -> nothing special is gained
Destro win -> Order problem -> gains almost full devastator set in a single day

you don't see the difference?
It's not destro problem. You could log as order and fight agains us but order preferred cry about some injustice.
Now I can see one big problem. when destro win, order jump on destro alts. When order win, destro do the same thing. Devs said, that devastator wipe was caused by massive faction imbalance. But why devs see it only now? Massive imbalance was before, 1 week ago, 2 week ago... month ago, when 1 or 2 groups of destro defended keep agains order zerg.
I really dont want to blame devs for their actions. But when destro sucked for 2 weeks or more and then FINALLY started fight, devs just turned off the trigger and wiped medals.
P.S. Sorry for bad English.

Thank you for proving that you didn't bother to read the thread before you entered today.

Keeps don't drop Medallions anymore.

Seriously, if you're not going to read the OP, don't post in this thread. Thanks.

IMHO the most important part to learn is: people will always go the path of least resistance. They do not care of "fun", they do not care about "having propa fightz", if there is a button that provides tons of xp/rr/inf/armor/weapons/pink ponies, they will press it millions of time sitting at mailbox to get phat lewt and cool stuff instead of having "fun" or "propa fightz".
Developers must be prepared for that. Sad, but true.
