Something that everyone should realize is that is really hard for the devs to change much about the skills, your suggestions were unanswered because they are simply not feasible i am afraid.

As a rule of thumb, devs cant create anything new, everything should be based on current skills in the game.

Increase EF duration to 10 seconds if using a SnB, keep it at 5 if using a 2H. Everyone happy now? 2H SMs wont be omg 100% parry OP!!! and SnB tanks will be able to use other skills more frequently. Just a small QoL change. I dont care about it tbh but oh well...
I am not sure if this is possible right now because of coding issues. Though if it is possible i would like to see 10sec deftarget buff instead of 5/10s as you suggest.

helpful in terms of survivability (where the sm doesnt need help so not helpful) I dont see how this hurts my statement about the buff not being helpful in terms of utility

Dont let Nanji mislead you, sure sm's are viable and when played by a skilled player in a coordinated skilled group you dont notice they are lacking and can perform just fine but When you build a group you build it around the dps, in the case of building a group with a sm to get the most out of what group buffs/utility they have you would be more inclined to build the group around the sm, leaving you with less options for what would work well and be legit in a serious/pro pvp situation, double resist debuff(atleast was on live idk if stacking here on ror) or whispering winds, which in most cookie cutter/fotms setups is not needed.
Remember Nanji and his groups reason why Sm and Blorc are not behind in terms of group utility is because of a 25% chance to proc 1 of 7 stats.

I'm the best SM player out there and I do just fine, it's obvious that all of you just suck and need to l2p.

Thank you for answering. I supposed something like this. Though my another post with hunder flowers blossom quotaion was unanswered also.

That's yours enemies just are bad - nope srsly bad as hell) , do you even had SMs addon "PLANB" on ur sm?) if not
maybe enemies you meet before even worse than "BAD".

I dont see that we built a grp around sm, Wl/sl grps were popular on live without sm werent they?
The thing sb else figured out for you is just one of the reasons. ;)

no need to build around anyone if your group is actually a triple threat combined with great support instead of a one man show like most groups on live and here were/are. it's about the whole synergy of the group and i don't see any tank bringing more benefits to my wl or narcoticx slayer than wingz on his sm.

if you do watch LoL tell me when SKT T1 fully build around one person the last time. there is a reason why it's no longer the faker show. ;)

Both this, and applying the buff to the defensive target if the SM is not targeting himself, are possible. I made a post somewhere outlining exactly what is and isn't possible with ability changes, though damned if I remember where.
