Re: Launcher Problem Critical Error
Are you using the "Return of Reckoning" Launcher?
Re: Launcher Problem Critical Error
Or may I forgot something to install/download? I installed the game per CD not by download.
I thought I just have to
1. deactivate any firewall or antivirus (this must be done when updating usually)
2. place Return of Reckoning Launcher.exe inside the game's folder near WAR.exe
3. make sure that no torrent software is seeding Warhammer Online
4. run Return of Reckoning Launcher and let it use administrator privileges and wait for it to update
5. log in with your forum credentials
6. press the Connect button

Re: Launcher Problem Critical Error
Ah, that's why. You NEED to download the client from the forum. The game version on disc is out of date and not compatible with this server.
Download the one from my topic: http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... ?f=11&t=16
Then do as you did earlier and it will work.

Re: Launcher Problem Critical Error
Creating some sort of retail patcher is useless btw, as the patch end up being almost as big as the game itself. (Tried it today).
At least I found a picture that comes with the retail / installer version which made me smile
