No character selection + unkown Data.myp error

Hello It's me (Adelle voice)

I seem to have a problem with my launcher, but for a weird reason even though I have this error message pop up the game still opens. Another notable issue is that I can't select any characters let alone see any of them wich is unusal. I recently started playing RoR again (cause of the level cap that will soon reach 40 yaaaay) So I already have a character that should be showing when I log in.

I`m of from the awsome country Denmark so some of the error message appeared in dansih heres the translation(not google trans, btw did any of you guys know about the error where Russia turns into Mordor? read an article was fun, You should google):

see the real problem is even though I selected the readonly off it still won't launch the game correctly. any help appriciated, hope to see you all in game soon

[update]:
I have now downloaded the game for the third time, used both dowload links and moved the folder to a new area so the torrent download would not affect still the same error message and the same results. I can't see how else to troubleshoot this problem

Seems it's windows 7 whos a bitch, when I untick the readonly buttom it jumps right back, now of course I searched the internet for a solutions and that sadly did not solve my problem but if anyone else is having this problem heres a possible fix: http://www.sevenforums.com/system-secur ... sable.html

The read only protection is off the actual program and not on the Data.Myp file or the launcer, but the same problem remains
