Mercenary Gear Wipe

Since most people are back to using greens id like to propose a Merc gear wipe to reduce gear gap. Any thoughts?

I dislike the idea. The reason why Annihilator and Ruin were wiped is because people abused certain mechanisms that allowed them to get the gear faster or in a way that was not intended by the Devs. Mercenary on the other hand can only be farmed while actively participating in Scenarios. Gear gap should not be the reason for a wipe.

That being said I am biased because I am farming Mercenary

I agree, Merc gear has been obtained by legit means that are not a part of a flawed system.

There is no reason to wipe Mercenary gear, as the rate of its acquisition was and always has been correct.

I didnt farm Ruin PQs but i imagine majority of people there werent afkers. As for Annihilator people spent way more time getting the sets than even on live to get Medallions etc. To be in a WB and get these sets from Kills only would take a really long time with current drop rates.

I can see this quickly going south. The purpose of this thread is "they wiped my gear so I want theirs wiped too!"

Look heres a disclaimer. I spent as much time on keep doors as people did in scens or PQs. I also made a few hundred from selling some gear so in a week or so i will buy merc/anni for 10g a piece from someone else. The only point im making is that aside from AFKers everyone else chose what path and which sets to go for. ALL of which were legit and took some grinding in one form or another.
