Elves vs Dark elves and Greenskins vs Dwarfs starting zones

Hello Im new here. I remember when I played WAR back in the day there were different starting zones for each faction. Why now all the factions are starting to the Empire vs Chaos starting zone???

iirc you can just use book of binding after creating a level 1 character to teleport into your "normal" starting area for your race

This was actually a change they did on live, about a year or so after launch, because there was an unspoken agreement of sorts that all T1 rvr was done in empire
