[KOTBS] All out assault!

I have some questions regarding the All out assault ! skill. (the aura that damages enemies around you), i believe the answer to all my question is yes but i'm not sure so asking for confirm.

1) damage output is not influenced by any stat, and is related only to level and mastery points?

2) Weapon skill's armor penetration does not work on dps of all out assault?

3) damage from all out assault never crits so it doesn't activate procs that need a crit?


If you got better info to confirm those 3 points or negate them plz answer, ty :)

1) yes i belive so

2) i think its only mitigated by toughness

3) ive never seen it crit so i dont think so

2) was implemented to do elemental damage maybe i'm not sure

3) cannot crit as cant the chosen one

1/2&3 - is a waste of an aura, for the love of all that is good, please dont slot it. There are MANY other more useful ones.... Its EXTREMELY easy for a healer to more than outheal the aura, its not "pressuring" anybody and only screws up several forms of CC to pad your own damage numbers, but in reality provides next to nothing in usefulness. Its really only useful for AoE grinding PVE mobs.

Do yourself and your party a favor, slot toughness/str/resistances. If you want to swap some out for others or have another Knight, use the AP/sec aura or the heal depression aura (outgoing) as those are solid options. Or even the heal and Ap/sec one after defending is a solid one too.

This. My knight's standard is Resis/To Glory!(AP regen)/Toughness. I have the 25% outgoing HD, and Stay Focused(HP/ap regen+healing) to swap to if another knight (or AM with better resis) around(tactics too).

As a Knight you should be just as willing to swap Aura's as Gaurd. They don't stack, and it is a large part of your classes group benefit.

AoA and OYG are great for PvE or SC damage numbers, for group play though the damage is so minimal as to be nearly worthless. Though OYG can be useful.

If you run a x2 kotbs where you can "split the mandatory auras" between the 2 kotbs then you can have one run AOA! if you want

The aura is really useful for butchering/salvaging and also for PQ, raising its damage would be a boost, Faster mob farm & more pq bags = more time for RVR

Anyway it would be useful for pvp if it didn't break the staggers :-(

We usually play 2 kotbs in party, 1 uses str+backslash+random, 2 uses tough+heal/ap+resists, if we are in a situation where staggers aren't required we switch heal ans backslash for both AOA
