Hi all! My wife and I have played a lot of MMOs in our day, but Warhammer was definitely our favorite. We loved PVP and PVE. Sadly I don't recall what server we were one (especially with the various merges), but in case any of you remember Margrave/Grumpbot and Abbess/Snowshoe from the guild TKT, that's us. We often ran with Kenegdo, Ultimobum, Andante, and Niklas/Isaak. I have so many great memories from this game and am really thrilled that the team at RTR is putting all the work to make this server a reality.

The reason we quit is pretty sad. Our crew was recruited into the core testing program to test Tomb of the Vulture Lord, and we put in a bunch of long testing sessions. For some reason, our group was never assigned a GM, so while other groups were advanced past bugged content we were left bashing our heads against the wall. We didn't know if we were failing because of bugs or because we didn't know the mechanics. IIRC we were the only group that defeated the Hand of Ualatp without GM assistance on the first night of testing. Needless to say after putting in a ton of work (not to mention writing hours of feedback), we got so burned out that we couldn't enjoy the game anymore and quit. I have a huge amount of respect for all of you people who are wading through the challenges of developing and testing RTR.


I have no idea if my wife and I will end up playing again with our current schedules, but I hope we find time to! I think we have enough distance from that experience that we can enjoy it again.

I stumbled on this (as many others have, I'm sure) after playing Total War: Warhammer and getting all nostalgic, for what it's worth.

Im waiting till i get to the office to download it because its like 200Mbps and at the house its 10Mbps.. Nice TotVL was a lot of fun! i got most of the tyrant set and the 2h, but then quit due to going off college lol.
