[Bright Wizard] Looking for general tips/guide

Hey guys I have been looking around at the BW posts and there are a lot of very specific topics but I can't seem to find any general tips for playing one. I'm very new, only 19 and I have almost no experience with the game nor this iteration of it. If you guys could post anything or point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks.

Depends on your group and playstyle, but generally as a BW you have to play extremely cautious and keep a very good eye on your surroundings as you can be melted in a few seconds if you have no guard close to you.
if you really have zero clue i can give you some very "basic basics":
Stay at about ~70ft to your enemies at most times, dont try to chase someone for a kill if you get too close to their melees, dont try to solo-burn people that obviously are guarded and healed, never be greedy, try to assist with your melees (if they arent braindead), you can indeed focus tanks if they have no shield as their armor means nothing to you, don't use your Root if you used detonate/flamebreath a second before, get used to detaunting SHs and last but not least: never stand still - always keep moving.
