Problem with launcher

Today i started having a problem with the launcher, this happened about 2 hours ago. The launcher will no longer let me log in i have my login and password correct and when i hit connect it does nothing, what should i do?

Close and retry again until it lets you in.

Having the same issue. Here on the website it says the server is online with 340 people, but when I try the launcher it indicates the login server is down and won't let me log in. It was fine yesterday.
