Quickest way to level?

Hey there, Its been a very long time since I played warhammer online, a month after launch to be precise. But I'm just wondering what the quickest way to level up is? is questing viable, or should I do rvr, farm mobs? Sorry if this has been asked before, if so, just link me to that discussion and I will delete this. Any help would be appreciated =)

It's been asked many times, but depending on the current state of the game, the answer changes occasionally. As the game stands now, your best bet to just level is, in order:
1. Get/find/pay a higher level character to power-level you.
2. Play during high population periods, and queue for every SC you can while spending the rest of your time in the RvR lakes in a WB (or solo with AAO if you are a DPS class.)
3. Play during off-peak, take whatever SC pops you can get, and grind the rest.
Questing, as it stands now, is fairly useless for leveling (with only a few exceptions), so your best bet is to play during EU peak time, or grind during NA.
4. Using siege equipment solo (oil, cannons, etc), especially with AAO, is an exception to the above, and if you are in the right place at the right time can yield ridiculous gains in both experience and RR. Not very sporting, but it is possible, and therefore used/abused quite often.

There are two ways really... The quickest way to R40 is through killing mobs, mainly through AoE groups. For Destro there is the Arena in IC, for Order there are squigs you can kill in KV.

The second way isn't as fast to R40 but you get renown as well with it... all you do is get an AoE siege weapon from t2-t4 (can't do this in t1 unfortunately) and defend keeps. The AoE damage you do with the siege should give you a lot of renown and xp through the duration of the keep defense.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I should be on later this evening (I'm in NA) so maybe I'll see some of ya on. Its gonna take some relearning to play this, but I'm excited to play it again after so many years.
