Can GMs please have a little empathy for us here?

Guys I understand the reason behind removing every single post asking when are the server back online but you did say they will be back on Monday, that was actually GM message to the community... well it's Wednesday and they are still down while the threads asking when they are back up are being removed so I'm not going to ask this.... I would rather like to ask if the info about servers being up @ Monday was false or a joke aimed at community? a form of punishment for us being so impatient? Do not keep us in the dark, we are not your foes and it's a pity SOME of the GMs tend to forget about it and treat us as such

Please quote line and verse where it was said the server would be back on Monday. The following post was made:
Github wrote:We've most of the new things set-up already, but because of it being the weekend we're unfortunately unable to move forward with some other things until - presumably - Monday, when the workweek starts.
Expect the server to be available during the coming week.
Oh look at that! It says "Expect the server to be available during the coming week". It doesn't say a damn thing about it being up on Monday, you just misrepresented that. What it says is that we can start moving forward on Monday, which we did.

As for the rest of your post?

Stop asking us.

When the situation changes, WE will tell YOU.

Until that point, nothing has changed. All you are doing with these repeated posts is annoying the living hell out of our staff who are sick and tired of having to repeat themselves because some people do not understand that no word means the situation has not changed.

You want the server back? Great! So does everyone else. No, that does not justify community members making repeated threads about it. No, I don't care how much you're missing the server and how people think that's an excuse for switching off common sense - everyone is missing the server. Stop making repeated threads about it being down.

I will try to do an ELI5 here:

The servers are back when the're back.

Every post like this just steals time from a GM who has to read it. No offense, enjoy the summer.

They said, and i (more or less) quote 'probably some time this week'.
Now, if we assume that there's a black hole in a certain range of Earth, we can clearly conclude that thanks to the gravitational time dilation produced from said hole - 'next week' is a relative term, easily able to stretch into next year, the past, another dimension, Santa Claus' jolly arsehole or potato.
Therefore the conclusion is simple - if you can count to toaster, why did the pope's monkey collapse upon itself like a neutron star?
Riddle me that.
