Very lame GM move...

Post#1 » Fri Aug 05, 2016 5:13 am

As topic say... very lame move from a GM (who stay hiden) giving order a free zone lock without chance defend.
We where in CW S keep... 3 defenders Vs WB+ and figth best we can since numbers... then order think about go inside without take down iner and pull lord... and ofc, no more ram can be placed after... order simple leave and take empty N keep... when they come back a GM open door, that was again 100% and give free lock zone... without chance defend and without take down door without ram... just like destro have to do every time some noob pull lord...

If that is OK, then sorry, i will be happy see GMs take down doors free for destro too when some1 engage a lord in keep without take door down. Always nice save 1 hour of melee door.

Mistakes happen. We're aware of it. He actually freaked out a little when it happened and asked me about it. A bit out of practice and hit the wrong macro with the door targeted. I figured it wouldn't come up, but since it did. There ya go. That's what happened. It's been a month since we've all been online and someone slipped up.

I will flog him personally. Thanks.

So out of curiosity, what was he intending to do when waving that magic wand at the keep.
Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

By the sounds of it there wasn't much of a contest going on so he was probably dealing with something else. Inventory management, planting seeds, feeding his unicorn. Whatever GM's do in their spare time. He was moving macros around, broke the door in the process. Feels bad man.

I'm pretty sure this happened for destro in KV a month ago. Door at 99%, destro saying they can't put ram up on inner door and in 10 seconds the door is open. This is something that might happen as the doors/rams bug. I agree that it is a bad move to just run over those who actually are defending.

in this case it was a mistake by a GM but if doors are unattackable while they should be GMs may open doors yes.

@jail
From what I can gather of the OP the outer was killed by normal means (I could be wrong on this)

Since the reason for why this happened have been explained and there is a high chance this will just end up in a flamewar I will lock the thread.
