[Knight] Path of Conquest

Out of all three Order tanks, I think that Knights lose the most and gain the least from going 2H. While Arcing Swing is a really nice ability, I reckon Conquest could really use some love.

To start this topic, I propose the following changes:

1. Myrmidia's Fury
- as it is, it's a really terrible ability, low damage and worst of all it cancels autoattacks.

- increase the damage,

- add a secondary effect, like an armour debuff during the channel.


- or make it a regular ability, usable only with 2H, not a channel and adjust accordingly. Knights could use some form of a "burst" attack.


2. Efficient Swings
- I don't think it's worth it, if built right we rarely have AP problems.

- Change it to Greatsword Training instead (Chance to parry increased by 5% and damage by 10%).

- Or a slightly different version with 10% parry and 5% damage increase.



3. All Out Assault!
- only good for padding numbers in a scenario, but otherwise virtually useless.

- Make it armour debuff aura (probably too powerful),

- Or perhaps an aura which adds armour penetration,

tanks are not dps so tanks dont need burst abilitys u got a steady dmg output you dont roll tank to burst pepole u roll tank to take dmg

Swordmasters have burst damage, but that's beside the point, all I'm saying is that Conquest tree has several useless abilities (which no one buys anyway), which hopefully can be looked at.

Hmm no. Knight is still the best tank in game and still mandatory in any group. When changes to the class come I would say its very unlikely that you will be receiving buffs.
Khorlar, Thorvold, Sjohgar, Anareth, Toldavf, Hartwin, Gotrin and others -_-

While its true your utility suffers doe specing 2hander the knight still remains ahead of other tanks in terms of utility. Other classes wish they had the amount of options a knight has.

The strength of kotbs as dps isnt doing mass damage its being able to do ok dps and maintaining a solid defense at the same time.

Kotbs dont need any buffs at all and while you are right about how bad path of conquest is many other classes have even more problems. Just focus on other mastery paths and only go into path of conquest for EA,ST and ap aura depending on group setup.

I agree that knights are strong, but I don't think that excuses Conquest tree having useless abilities past the 7 point margin.

Maybe not a top priority, but I still believe it should be looked at. In other terms - while a shield knight is surely among the best (if not the best) as far as Order tanks are concerned, a 2H knight is lagging behind the other two tanks in terms of the payoff for losing the benefit of having a shield.

Just to be clear - I was never asking for "massive damage" or "burst", but for the Conquest tree to have abilities worth picking up - I must admit I was hoping for some ideas on how to change the 3 main problems I've listed ;)

On top of that, I believe all tank channel abilities should be looked at, aside from SM's Ether Dance and BO's T'ree Hit Combo, because they're all rubbish.
