About capturing BO's
So I've been playing on this server now for about 2 weeks and I noticed you removed all rewards for capturing BO's. Now I can understand you wanting to slow down the renown and medallion gains, but why not at least reward influence for capturing BO's to help gain the Rally Master rewards at the least? Now this isn't super important in T2 - T4, but it would give people at least a way to gain the T1 INF rewards in Elf and Dwarf since those zones are almost always a ghost except for the small trickle of players doing lairs. Heck, it could even encourage people to go into those zones once more and cause people to actually have fights there. I like Nordland, but I also like the T1 elf and dwarf zones. It's just an idea to think about assuming you're able to set up the rewards like that.

Been there, done that.
Factions did avoid each other, recapturing BOs all day long for powerlvling.

agree with this. posted earlier about the trubbles of getting all the inf needed for the different rally masters before outleveling an area, this could solve that problem aswell

I'm not asking to gain experience, renown or medallions. I just want influence so it's possible to gain the Rally Master item rewards for Dwarf and Elf before you over level for the area's.Luicetarro wrote:Been there, done that.

Maybe there is a way to enable gaining Inf while debolstering.
In general I'm up for something like that, gaining Inf in lower tiers. But like before I guess, giving any kind of reward just will lead to that good'ol 'capture it, let the enemy recapture it, while we recapture theirs!' as we've seen before.
Well, if someone bothers, that is. Doubt a lot of ppl are keen in grabbing inf-rewards for lower infs, while lurking t4, to be fair.

So for instance. Say a BO awarded 1000 renown and 600 influence (numbers are just examples). If there were 8 people in the zone, each person gets (1000/8) = 125 renown and (600/8) 75 influence.
If there were 25 people in the zone, the rewards would be pitiful....
This solves the problem Az had a term for I forget "the initiation" problem? In which there werent any rewards for the first guys to come in and cap BOs but it also removes the zerging BO goal since the bigger the zerg, the less each person gets AND it wouldnt matter to zerg BOs too because its zone wide, so its actually better to split up and take them all at once.
But that would be the best solution. Fixed Reward amount / players in the zone.
To evolve it further (to prevent players from AFKing) you could create either a "contribution" system in which you need X contribution to get credit for anything OR create a condition in which if you havnt capped a BO or killed any enemy players in X minutes, you dont get credit.

Last time i played only T2 was available but got rewards for capturing BO's and used to roam in rvr and got some really nice fights over an objective.
I really don't understand why the rewards were removed, if people were avoiding fights its not game's fault. There is always a solution to balance things, like less renown/xp etc for BO's, cheaper sieges so keeps are less boring to take, etc.
Its not fun to bash your head to the door because you can't afford to buy a ram, or don't defend because you don't have gold to buy an oil.
Right now, T1 its completely dead, only fights are in chaos/emp, only way to lvl up is in sc and pve i guess, no chanche to get inf rewards or anything in other 2 areas.
T2 and T3 are a influence/xp fest, one side camp a locked keep, semi afk players in front of keeps waiting fro lock tick. On live were always fights on BO's, even if you got only few people was worth to try to take a BO instead of afk-ing in camp and waiting more players for a keep, or switch to other faction for xp train.
I don;t know how its in T4 because i don't have a higher level char atm, but i guess its same semi afk'ing in front of keeps.
So, if any Dev read this, maybe its a good idea to put rewards back for capturing objectives, even if its less than on live, can make people to go out in rvr and do something.

i am a fan of the 1 renown that you got from take the itiems for build siegesinside the rvr maps on live so for me even just 1 point would be cool.
@caledra t1 is not dead if the fight is in emp/chaos it was always like that from when they removed the 4th flag and forced all ppl to start in 1 zone. Actually it's just that ppl prefer keep fight as it's t1 instead keep roam between zones.
t2-t3 for what i saw have their fight inside and outside, also t4 it's full of rvr the night or late evening.

T1 was kinda dead before, even on live, but now there is no choice except sc's or pve while map its locked. The rr/xp/inf from capturing bo's before could make me do something between sc's, and most of time capturing a bo could also get me a fight for that objective.
Now not even in T2-T3 there is no reason to capture them if you don't have a wb to try keep. I remember we used to guard bo's on live because def tick, now not even worth it to take it except to annoy enemy wb maybe.
Basically, removing the rewards from BO's encourage zerging and killing small fights over objectives.

Any chance a dev could chime on my idea? What does the dev team think about at least rewarding INF for BO's? I mean I'm not asking for renown or even xp. Just INF so people might have a reason to go fight in T1 elf and dwarf.
