Where are all my characters? Do you have remove them?

After a pair of months I have been on vacation (and other problems), I wanted to play again with my characters on this server. What my surprise when I have found nothing, 0 characters remaining, and the game sends me to create one window.
I need an explanation and the return of all of them!

All characters who have not been logged in since April the 26th were deleted. So if you have not logged in to them in four months they are gone. The devs will not be restoring characters.

Do you have to log in on all your chars or only to log into an account not to lose them?

the purge has already been, and logged into one should have been enough.
