Hey there guys. After a first try of RoR in 2014 (which failed to gain my interest back then) I tried it again in recent days. I played WAR since it went online back in 2008. I was never really much into MMOs, but WAR took my interest since it was officially announced. I eventually decided to go for it, even through subscription based play was really repelling me off (and I still think that this crap was one of the reasons that broke WAR's neck). So I bought Collector's edition. Played maybe some 2 or 3 months and then laid it off for maybe an year. Played as a Witch Elf named Nysa (and did it again) and Ironbreaker Gulde (same here).
After I came back it was more fun then before and I really enjoyed that. After that "season" I sometimes probed an option of coming back, but again subscription repelled me off. Unfortunatelly I never played on an official server again.
And here I am now!Trying to play where I ended few years ago. Its still quite depressive to see what happened to WAR, because Iam a nostagic weirdo . Quite low number of players, not everything working (no disrespect at all here!)...but damn, awesome work for such a fan project! And far more better than nothing!
Besides the WE Nysa Iam playing Black Orc named Steroid. Iam just planning to play characters I'd missed on official server.
Hope that the numbers of players will rise and numbers of bugs decreasing rapidly!
