[SM] Aethryc Armor + WP armor prayer?

Aethyric Armor and Prayer of Absolution both are not stack with armor potion
how about each other?
my guess is they are not stack but..
can anyone confirm this plz?

Armor buffs from abilities or tactics tied to abilities ( for instance gain X armor when you use Y ability) do not stack with each other or with pots.

It's pretty annoying, armor cov/prayer pretty much useless and so are a lot of tactics/abilities because armor pots are a thing.

edit: also procs don't stack with anything either (for instance the t4 epic quest shield that gives 800 armor)

If stacking rules where different I don't see a problem, you might have a build that specs for KD+Ether dance, losing defense from the right tree (considering aethtyc armor would stack with pots) giving you the option to use a sword/shield(lol) that had an armor proc if you needed that extra phy defense. Just like right now you have the option to run full merc or 2pc ruin 3pc merc.

The main theme being you have options, but as of now you don't. You never use the armor proc gear, you never pick up aethryc armor because it's a waste of GCD.

Adding stacking rules just means that potions add another layer of power inflation. The correct response was not to implement armor potions or to have a system under which they are not the absolute best choice for the slot.
