[Shadow Warrior] Need some tips or help please

Hello all!

Felen here, I am having some trouble with enjoying my Shadow warrior when I hit 40. It would seem Destro love me for giving them free XP and RR. I am full Skirmish tree. I would dearly love some tips or such on how to last longer or atleast not faceplant everytime I do RVR.

don't hesitate to run
keep distance from enemies by knowing your range
make sure you can change stance while moving
gear up
but if you don't have good ping like 30ms you will die a lot anyway

You are going to get targeted early and often due to your dreaded order-centric ranged KD. Make sure you keep distance/pre-kite as others recommended. Also, change your stance to Assault when focused and use that melee dis arm, Whirling Pin, and detaunt often to get away. Have friends to guard and heal you is also very nice for survival.

I would also recommend you slot Lileath's Forgiveness as morale 1. Being able to remove all debuff on you every 60s is pretty great. Use M2 Unshackable Focus when you can go offensive. Keep Lileath's M1 when you think you might need to run for your life.

++ to assault stance. Unless you're preparing to KD/snare someone, always play in Assault stance. The armor/WS bonus, outweight the 5% crit from skirmish imo.

100% agreed with your statement about the morale abilities.
However, not agreed with you about the assault stance.
I would rather say use the assault stance if you're fighting medium armored mdps or tanks, and use skirmish stance against rdps and healers. But if you're running away from mdps and tanks, stay in skirmish stance.
However, with assault stance, you're not just giving up snare/KD, but also others tree spec abilities like flanking shot or even Lileath's arrow.

Yeah you're right. I would include SH with the mdps and play in assault vs them though. Otherwise they'll just bend you over.

Use m1 to cleanse, m2 should be the cc Breaker if you aren't in a premade. Against every physical dd, stay in Assault as long and as often as possible. Only Switch to skirmish when you need a cc real quick and change back to Assault asap. Against mages you stay in skirmish most of the time, there isn't really a Trick against sorc or magus, other than Slotting cleanse and spend points in deft Defender. If they have Armor Pots, sucks to be you. Armor Stacking can only be countered by weaponskill, so you might stay in Assault if you see they have Armor Pots. Against squigs you will have to stay in Assault most of the time, and Stack some Armor yourself. Detaunt the Pet, wait until they used their disarm and knock dem down afterwards to Burst them. Change to Assault when they get up again. If you run resolute Defense, you can use it to kill the Maras pull, the squigs disarm, or the witch elfs knockdown. Resolute Defense will give you an unfair advantage over a lot of classes, so I always Slot it myself. ( Don't use it in duels if you have some Pride). If you need a Ultimate escape tactic: toggle rd or m2/self Punt/flee/cleanse or m1/health Pot.
