Just like to start with a big thank you to the developers of this Private server. This has been a game I've always been curious about and wanted to play, but never had the funding (mainly because I was paying for WoW at the time), and was really bummed out when I found out the game went under. But, through dedication on your parts and maybe some warp shenanigans, its here to be played once again, and I've been greatly enjoying my time in game. Well, except last night when one of the devs cut off player skills/powers/abilities and such briefly when I was fighting off a Ogre on my Bright Wizard. That was a bit of a pucker moment lol.
But on to the introduction of myself...Well, needless to say you can see my name is Dunabar. I've been playing video games pretty much since I was five or six years old and after high school I started looking into getting into the Game Design field. Today I'm a Independent Game Designer that focuses currently on tabletop games, though I do have experience with 3D Modeling and Animation as well. But, I enjoy MMOs, RTS, RPGs, FPS, and other game types that might peak my interest depending on multiple factors we wont get into. Some of my favorites are World of Warcraft, Mass Effect, Dawn of War, Medieval 2 Total war (mainly now when it's modded with Warhammer awesomeness
), Civilization 5 (soon 6!), Battlefield, and many, many more games that I don't want to bore you with reading through a massive list.I've also been Roleplaying in MMOs for about 14 years, mainly in World of Warcraft where I led a very successful RP Guild for 7 years, was a very prominent figure in my RP Community at that time, and still am in a strange sense even though my time with WoW is currently on hold. However, Inside or outside of MMOs Roleplaying and story telling in general have a great place in my heart as it's one of the core loves that brought me into wanting to design games.
Outside of Video Games, Tabletop Games, and Roleplaying. I'm also really into Music (like everyone else) Rock, Metal, and Power metal mainly. Some of my favorite bands are Manowar, Sabaton, Metallica, Ozzy, Black Label Society, AC/DC, Iron Fire, Hammerfall, Amon Amarth, and so many, many other awesome bands.
Then of course I like to do some reading from time to time, mainly Fantasy Novels (I'm a huge fantasy nerd lol.) Then of course I like to watch Movies and TV shows from time to time as well if it's something that catches my eyes like the Walking Dead, Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, and other movies.
Anyways, I'm not all that great at these introductions and really I'm a open book. If you want to know something (and I don't feel it's too personal, insulting towards me as a Individual, against the server rules, and etc etc...) you just have to ask me and I will most likely answer you to the best of my ability.
