Roleplay newbie, a few questions.

Hey guys, just started playing the game and have been interested in the roleplay side of RoR. I understand that it's a niche community in an even smaller server, but with that being said I was wondering a few things.

1) Are there any locations for RP? Just in-game locations that people frequent for this kind of stuff.

2) Are there any guilds that would be okay with someone who's *not* the most knowledgeable about warhammer lore? I'm looking to learn, but I find that I learn best through exposure.

3) How is the destruction side for RP? I haven't noticed much aside from the Freebooterz and the Brides of Khaine. I'm currently on this side due to my friends preferring this side for PvP.

Any tips on this game would be appreciated!

1) There aren't yet and 'favored taverns' but there has been some talk of starting up a commonground again.

2) Order and Destro both have guilds friendly toward the not-so-lorewise so don't be shy! Just be upfront and flexible to alter your stories if they aren't lore-friendly. It's good to check with players more familiar with the lore you're about to jump into before announcing your backstory and persona.

3) Destruction side is much less dedicated than the Order side. The Brides are a bit secular and reclusive (for good reason - lotsa pervs out there), and the Freebooterz are usually just all around goofy. Because they're Greenskins. Made of Fungus.

Do you have a preferred class or even race you want to play as? Few of the RP guilds are interracial but there are some available.

Most destro guilds are relaxed when it comes to roleplaying. Da Freebootaz is more of an umbrella greenskin guild more than anything. Not really sure if they do rp outside of RvR.

I tried creating a Chaos RP guild, but the market for such a thing doesnt exist. Greenskins seem to get the most love. Maybe because theyre just more fun to rp as. I'd love to see a goblin only guild. Would make for some intetesting interactions.

I made a Goblin Guild for the T1 Goblin Event, but as I'm more an Order player it is inactive.

And yes, currently there is on Order side a bigger Roleplay community.

With the Bitterstone Thunderers for Dwarfs, Eternal host for elves and some atm splintered human guilds.

I'd really to see the appearance of a commonground. I'm not too preferential for class or race, but the ones I've liked the most are: Witch Hunter, Blackguard, and the Shadow Warrior. I'm okay with most of the races, even been considering a dwarf for the RP side of things.

Good to hear it. I was kind of worried with such a small population that chaos or dark elves just wouldn't have an RP scene. I figured greenskins would, but with all the friends I know who are obsessed with greenskins I guess I'm a little biased

I kind of noticed that the order side is a lot bigger. Could you elaborate a bit on the human guilds thought? I was pretty interested in trying to get my Witch Hunter into one.

There was a very short time ago the Knights Panther which are in our Alliance and developed quite well.
But it's leader left and deleted his char. The Reasons his own.
After that the guild was left by its officers after some internal differences.
Also best not to get involved there too. And I actually don't know who is who and said what.
So we have nowadays the "House Crow" which is a full Order Roleplay guild and the "Imperial Inquisition" which is an empire WH, WP Guild.

But they are both quite new and I don't know of any current events.

Aaaand there are the "Averland Greatswords". It is the Empire only guild for our Bitterstone players and their Empire Characters. As of now it is more a shoebox of an guild. But that might change in the Future.
For the Averland Greatswords we do a t1 rvr event on 3.12 8pm Altdorftime. See event section for more info.

If you want a home for your Shadow Warrior for some RP, I really can recommend the Eternal Host. We are a really nice and happy bunch. And we have some players who really know the lore.

You can say there were some internal differences again, but, I would whole-heartedly support another human only guild that accepts all human classes. It is just ashame that Erhart and Bereaver don't play anymore. (So if anyone is interested, tell me).
