Issues with game play

I have been playing wh online for a long time. I have been part of this server from the beginning. With in the last 2 months, I am seeing a common theme. I am asking for help.

1: I can't find any online resource for finding where things are located.
2: I really do not understand what I am doing wrong when PVPing
3: The disorder is killing the game for me.
4: I can not find any career trainers at all. I have 3 level 40's
5: I just watched my healer take 12k damage at one time. How is that defend-able. How can a group all switch targets so fast at once that I cant even do anything about it.
6: I got in my first 1v1 first with a choppa with my slayer. I was doing 32-50 damage a hit. I was taking 200 to 300 damage a hit.

What am I missing?

These are common themes in what other people are asking about or you personally are having these problems?

From your post history I assume you've been away for a while, so I will assume you're a confused returning player.

1. There is no working database a-la WoWhead and I don't think one will be made any time soon, there are too many changes going on with the game for any kind of database to able to offer up-to-date information. You could try the old pre-RoR wiki. Just keep in mind a lot of the information could be outdated. However there are a lot of useful and updated posts with information on these forums if you put a bit of effort into searching for them. PQ Lists, Tome Accessory guides, guides on ORvR/carrer/mechanic changes, Guild/Alliance lists, the works.

2. Try making a detailed post in the relevant section for your career. Most forum-goers will be eager to help.

3. Reach out to people for help, be it through /advice, which will provide swift answers to most of the frequent questions or these forums. You'll just have to be more specific. I agree that WAR isn't a game that's easy to get into (or get back into) but with a bit of effort a wonderful game will be revealed, one that most players here have been thoroughly enjoying.

4. Career trainers can be found in keeps (T2/3/4), for T1 you will simply have to go to Altdorf, there are Renown and Career Trainers at the Temple of Sigmar. However any career trainer will provide assistance to characters of every level, provided you can get to them.

5. Sounds like you've encountered a premade, a group of people who enjoy playing together, usually the good ones have been around playing together for quite some time. Coordinated assisting and switching is not the easiest of things and most premades use voice communication to coordinate quicker and be able to dish that amount of damage via the usage of heavy-hitting abilities and morale abilities. I can tell you that it's not an easy thing to do and most of the time takes practice and knowing the people you're playing with.
If you're not running in a premade yourself you can do little to avoid dying to them. My advice if this happens often to you is to make some friends and start running with a competent group.

6. There are a lot of factors that could have affected your fight. He might have had gear that was a lot better than yours. He might have been running a huge amount of armor by using armor talismans and the +armor trinket set. Or you could have been Furious, thus taking 50% more damage while he dropped his rage and was taking normal damage. It could be a combination of the above. But we can't really help you unless you provide some specifics.

Hope these help, I'm sure that if you provide extra info you'll receive more assistance. :)
