Greetings all! I was watching a random video on "why warhammer failed," and was pleasantly surprised when the video mentioned the existence of RETURN OF RECKONING.
I can't express how happy I am to know Warhammer is alive and well to some degree in the MMO world. I remember playing Beta and the first month of release. It was such a fantastic time in my MMO gaming experience. Still remember fondly having my Chaos Choosen tank a large group at a T1 while my group counter attacked.
Currently downloading the client and can't wait to play again but could use some advice: I would like to be a tank again but stuck on Chaos Choosen and Black Orc. Can any give me a pros and cons to each for RETURN OF RECKONING?
I remember Choosen being a brick house with a weak punch but better buffs for the team, while Black Orc's had a bit more of a punch but not as much assists for the group (could be wrong, it has been awhile).
Once again, happy to be back and thank you for any advice!

Re: Returning Years Later
Chosen is pretty solid tank, easy to play, brings useful auras to group (aoe buffs) and usually gets a spot in pretty much any team looking for a tank.
Blorc is a more offensive tank, and usually has to get into the heat of the battle before his stat-steals start buffing his own team, but a well played and well assisting Blorc has a spot in any proper melee train party as their damage can be pretty high; not to mention there seems to be demand for AoE knockback currently thanks to current siege dynamics.
Meanwhile my poor BG... well, BG would be challenging and has somewhat more "situational" CrowdControl available (requiring to Block before getting KnockDown and Knockback length depends on Hatred mechanic level), has almost too many abilities that make keybindings hard, but can be very annoying to enemy healers. Dmg can be quite good, though Chosen can probably be just as good, with Blorc being bestest with Da Gud Plan.
I'd recommend choosing on what you personally enjoy more, as any well played tank is welcome in T4.

Thank you Natheru for the useful information! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!
Thank you Aurandilaz for the information! Definitely still makes this a tough decision. I would say I'm 60/40 favoring Choosen at the moment. Sorry to hear about your BG D:Aurandilaz wrote: Chosen is pretty solid tank, easy to play, brings useful auras to group (aoe buffs) and usually gets a spot in pretty much any team looking for a tank.

Re: Returning Years Later
I love the BG, its what I main, but yeah they are not as useful as a chosen and BO atm sadky.
Although that might change in a future change that may or may not come to BG
(Chosen and KotBS is next on the chopping block after DoK WP)
