Dok and BG advice

Hi guys!
Im trying to conclude on what to play as an alt and i have a couple of questions if anyone can elaborate.

Dps DoK was something i always wanted to play (from when the game was live). My question is does dps dok bring anything else to the group besides the heal debuff? Also can it be compared with other dps? Same questions for TH dps black guard.

Thanks in advance and see you in game <3

2h Bg brings aoe crit and wounds debuff with crimson death and hastened doom best for orvr wb play

Dps DoK is more durable than other mdps but their dps out put is no where near as good

May want to check out .ab ex for dok as well bf starting one. Doks are going to be remade to a melee healer or weaker bl healer (then bf).
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

Search for forum "dok experimental mode" it is a big read and it was pulled back for client control meaning it is likely coming back in a v2.0

If you're looking for a career similar to a DPS BG but better you should look at the Marauder. More DPS, better debuffs with arguably a bit lower survivability, the only things you lose are some durability and tanking tools (guard, challenge, morales, option to spec/play tanky in the future) trading them for a pull and charge + root immunity (and better optional AoE for grinding or trying something new). Unless you're set on a Dark Elf I'd strongly suggest you check it out.

BG wounds debuff has to deal damage to proc, it's so counter intuative. And WB scale fighting is gonna have chosens plural for the guaranteed 1st hit AoE wounds debuff which is a 360 degree AoE rather than cone?

hastened doom is the most odd/spastic tactic in the game

@OP DoK is gonna get some changes to facilitate (force(?)) melee playstyles so if that is your thing I'd def go for it. DPS DoK has always been pretty good, it saw a lot of "competitive" play with the proc meta. Also you can essentially become a raidboss in the pug scenarios if you duo que with a guard.
