Total War: Warhammer

So my friend informed me recently that creative assembly accidentally announced this game. Someone on the total war forums found within an artbook a statement that this game is coming,
here is the thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthre ... -revealed!

Not sure if all of this is legitimate or not but the prospect of a total war game set in the warhammer universe has made me very excited.

What do you guys think?

There has already been a modification for Medieval II: Total War, that made it possible to play in the Old World with Warhammer forces, which was already impressive and mad fun. But an original game? GIMMIE. <3

We, in France, are aware of this game since last month. A magazine published an article which describes a cinematic of the game, with few races presented, like Dwarfs, Undeads, Humans (Empire) ans Orks. They didn't tell anything about the other races but I suppose they were not allowed to say more about this game (we still don't know if they wrote this article by mistake or if CA and GW allowed it).

Can't wait to have more informations and to see this cinematic :D

Many Battle players think that GW might try to promote EoT with this game. The total war player could, if he wants to, find the same universe in the new Fantasy Battle game. If GW want to bring new players, they might do this way.

But, again, we still don't know what will really happen after EoT. It's a shame GW still don't want to tell his community a bit of what's happening to Fantasy Battle's future :/

I wouldn't get my hopes too high about CA making a warhammer game. Their last good game was 2003 Rome Total War 1. Since that the're making casual ****.

If the game will be based on "huge success" of Rome 2, I'm afraid I'd rather play The Sundering mod...
