Small Question... and, possibly slight rant...

Heya!

So! Basically, why don't people attack the healers? And, why are people afraid of dying in SCs? In oRvR, I can kind of understand. If there's like 50 people between you and the healer, it's hard to get to their healer. But, I'm talking about SCs... The rest is just ranting!

The past 4-5 SCs (all instant pops, woo! <3) Have had the same group of 4 AMs in it. And, they're pretty good players! Probably really nice people. Nothing against them. But!!! The only ones one Destro side attacking healers is myself and Corpsegrinder. Possibly Spexx, too. Spexx is range DPS, so I hardly see him since I'm on my BG at the moment. Spexx is also doing like top DPS in these SCs, good job!

So, I'm running around using my defensive CDs to stay alive (thankfully we have Seanry, an awesome and good looking Zealot on our team), spreading my debuffs and attacking their healers. Corpsegrinder is being all orky, but he's doing it against their healers. I look behind me, and see everyone else hitting on a twinked IB that has these four AMs healing him. They're getting no where with the IB, but they insist on following him around and beating on him. I get it, "DPS'ing their tanks makes their healers heal them instead!" Well, that's what healers are for, so you're not actually doing anything but getting the lowest numbers on your hits.... At the very least, attack the WH or something more squishy! Though, they did try that, they still couldn't kill him since their healers could obviously out heal their DPS.

I don't think we could have won those SCs. 4 AMs is hard to contend with. Kudos to the AMs! But!! I would have liked to at least see Destro try. Hitting their IB isn't really trying...

And! Why are people afraid of dying in SCs? I get that you don't want to die so that you can avoid respawning and the run back. But! Standing in the back doesn't help... I'm talking about MDPS. A Chosen standing in the back is way less useful than a dead Chosen. You're going to die anyways if you're standing in the back. By standing in the back, you're allowing the other team to push you all the back to your spawn. Very rarely can you get out of the spawn if pushed that far back in an SC. So, yay! You got to live! You gave the other team the map, but at least you got to live, right? Odds are, you're not going to make a comeback. Whether you believe it or not, you're not living for that special moment when you see an opening and you can take it! Nope. You're just giving them ground, that's it. You going to get pushed back to the spawn, and lose the SC 500-50.

Alright! I feel better, haha. SCs are about winning or losing. They're about having fun! While I may not have fun on my characters sitting in the back doing nothing, I'm sure others do. Or, just really hate dying for some reason. Either way! You guys and gals keep having fun and doing what you're doing! That's what really matters. After the 4 AMs log off, maybe we'll win, too! Haha.

Also! This is the ONLY game that can make me agitated. Not sure why, haha. I've spent years playing SWTOR. Winning or losing, literally didn't matter to me. Never got angry or upset at myself or my team. PvP or PvE, didn't matter. Never. Nor, in any other game/MMO. Guess I get too passionate about WAR.

You were severely out numbered in those SCs and spexx dps comes from spamming aoe, not really useful damage. The squigg was much better. But youre completely right about ppl not attacking heals, I dont get it. Force a healer to heal himself and hes not healing anyone else. You were being a pain to my RP earlier slapping that willpower debuff that I was pissed about until i remembered that BGs need a tatic to make it the 50% outgoing debuff.

Moral of the story, everyone on both sides should attack healers more.

Hello, TK! I remember you and your Witch Hunting. :p At least, I think you were a WH... Your text bubble was about a WH from my view, if you're not.

I feel like every class plays a role! As a BG my role is to make healing more difficult for the enemy. I miss that tactic. haha. I would slap the toughness debuff on that IB as I ran by, but wouldn't chase him around. Once we get our specs, totally going into the anti-magic one! Then, your RP is in trouble. :p <3

How do you politely tell your team to attack healers? I don't want to be the one on the team that everyone hates... I wanted to say, "Can we try something new? Like, attacking their healers?" But, I didn't want to come off as a sarcastic, know-it-all word that I don't think we can say on the forms.

i know its annoying to see ppl stay back in sc´s and the only reason why is they lose there SC-Buff when they die (only until cr10),my opinion. But there are the same problems in orvr too. Btw there are lot more problems. I tried the Way of Healer with my Shamy (actually, he's DPS Shamy) but i am not good at all . I was in Chaos T1 ORVR with 3 BO`s and we tried to capture the Festenplatz. There were three orders, an iron breaker, a witch hunter and a slayer. Every time the IB came and attacked me (DoT me) when i was trying to heal one of the BO`s. Shortly after he attacks me the other orders focus and kill me (Slow,WH DoT,Slayer DoT) no chance to heal the dmg input. The orcs were trying to help me but without guard they had no chance to do something about it. But I'm just a noob healer, other healers would probably have had a chance to survive this.

What i want to say with my post was: The order do it right! Focusing healer so he can`t heal teammates or themself. Why does it work at order and at destruction not, I don`t know.
