Current state of Blackguards?

I would like to know how blackguards are after changes? Cons ans pros?

From what I read they are less selfish and more usefull for target under datk protector.

2h tree trade portion of dmg outpoot for a knockdown. Worth it?

Any build advice for 2h tanking?

Id say they might need a few tweaks here and their, or perhaps just some aspects of BO and Chosen taken a look at but overall id say they are in a very strong spot now with the new changes

The question of worth is subjective and you have to ask your self what you value more in terms of dps vs reliable lock down, i value the latter more than the former so its worth for me

Tanking 2h build is the stardard dps stuff in malice and force of fury + anger drives and terryfying foe from loathing?

Any tips for 2H builds? Sure path of malice with KD and maybe tactics hastened doom and filled with fury, but not sure about rest of trees. If loathing with force of fury, ange drives me and wave of scorn(optionaly terifying foe) or rather go for disrubt tactic shielding anger + Elite training, soul killer tactic (optionaly up to self heal bolstering anger).

Go up the left tree. Grab E.B. Get down and C.D.

For tactics, I don't use Hastened Doom. I grab 160tough, 15crit after haste, parry (middle tree scales off hate) and the extra hate off every crit.

I've been debating swapping over to the middle tactic that increases toughness based in hate (I think it's another 45%) but the BG rotation for 2H is already long and hate starved... So you'll basically spend half your time in E.B. to get hate. So giving yourself more hate on crits means more time using other abilities not spending time in EB.

For Talis, you'll want to get 4,000 armor minimum (not potted). 4,400 is ideal.

Grabbing 2pc ruin (chest/gloves) gives a good chunk. Then you can run boots/belt Dominator and the rest beastlord.

Armor is HUGE as it's probably over 50% of all damage - physical. Eventhough your over the cap, you have to look at it post debuff and armor pen.

This your only weakness is magic damage which you could use the tactic to reduce that by 25% (also reduces healing on you too)

As BG your job is to stay alive. Since STR was nerfed from live, you can't become an uber dps tank by stacking str. I've tried doing a full str build with Merc 2pc and str talis and you'll get maybe an extra ~10% more damage... but using a few armor talis and getting more armor will cut phys damage in half! And you'll stay alive longer able to have sustained dps as well as continued debuff enemy group.
