Trade skills reset (IMPORTANT)

Good day Developers/GM,

I got into some trouble here with my char Kournikova(sorc) with level 151 scavenging skills. I wasn't sure about whether a character can have 2 gathering skills instead of 1 gathering and 1 crafting(talis/apoth) and I checked with a guy name Gromrock. He told me its okay to have 2 gathering skills. I wanted to have 2 gathering because talis(my current crafting selected) is no use because I couldn't get magical essence without salvaging. Hence, wanted to have both gathering skills on my main instead. However, when I went to IC to re-skill, it wiped out my salvaging trade skill instead of my talisman skill.
Sigh... All my 151 scavenging skills gone!!
It is possible to formally request to set back my scavenging skills to 151? Seems like its mandatory for 1 gathering and 1 crafting. I'll just leave it as that and take the talisman making skills with scavenging. Just didn't want ALL MY TIME training the scavenging skill to go down the drain. Please advise. Thank you!!

Releveling butchering or scavenging to 200 can be done easy in one evening on higher level mobs.
Both professions are not optimal for sorc as the ability to tank big crowds of npc for aoe farming is limited due to low selfheal and backlash.
