[WL] Lots of different questions

Hello,

I would like your advice on those differents tactics please.

lionheart : is it a good tactic ? it seems to do a lot of damage and be nearly spammable attack that does spiritual damage.

furious mending and baited trap : They are really strong in pve, can they also be effective in pvp ? or it will be very rare and won t add a lot of survivability ?

pack hunting seems to be the absolute needed tactics but it force me to play with train to hunt, if furious mending and baited trap is a solid option in pvp, then does train to kill is a better idea ?

in fact i m hesitating beetween
this build with train to hunt (and slot lionheart as 4th tactic ?)
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=wl; ... :;0:0:0:0:
or
this build with train to kill
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=wl; ... :;0:0:0:0:

are they ok or i m doing major mistakes ?
feel free to suggest other build if needed :)

for normals attack (not counting attacks like sundering chop or tactics like flanking ) is it usefull to be on the side or back of an ennemy ? does it add damage ? reduce chance to be parried ?

does the 20% slowed attack speed of Fey illusion work with terryfing roar ?
is Fey illusion worth beeing in the dps rotation ?
it cost 40 ap for 508 damage (with my current hunter/guardian build)
currently trying to find the perfect dps rotation... but it s quite long
force opportunity -> coordinated strike -> lion's fury (if lionheart is slotted ?) -> fey illusion -> pack assault -> baited strike
that s too long (and hard to do in the heat of battle)

as you can see i m trying to max my white lion, feel free to add any advice !

thank you very much

A great tactic specifically if you're running with a WW SM. Then it becomes a high spirit damage spammable ability. If you're not running with a WW SM, it's OK -- there are better alternatives.

No, they're not great in PVP. However, once the team has established client control, Torque is planning on this: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=21856 which will make both of those tactics stronger.

Pack Hunting is great but most people say to just run the lion buff with whatever spec you're running, so if you're running high Guardian, run Trained to Kill. If you're running high Hunter, run Trained to Hunt. That's a good rule of thumb until you get more into the class.

I think the standard solo WL build is Force Opportunity and Pounce from Hunter with Leonine Frenzy and Brutal Pounce from Guardian (at rr40). There are a few variations though depending on group setup and my WL isn't 40 so I'll leave my input at that.

Yes, you should always try to hit your enemy at the back. Parry and block are 180 degrees in front of you, if I'm not mistaken, so if you're behind this degree you don't get parried/blocked. Skill and latency determine if you're able to do this successfully.

Not sure about the attack speed slow. I include Fey Illusion in my rotation but I've talked to higher rr WLs in my guild who don't. WL can very much be a "get in deal damage get out" class. So you want to get off about 3-4 abilities then gtfo before you get focused. Definitely start with FO then hit CS *as long as your lion is actually attacking a target (if it's not, then the lion's strike won't damage anything)*, and from there it depends on your build and if you're going to catch heat. Can you depend on a guard to protect you? Is your lion getting focused? Etc.

I highly advise to use Speed Training pretty much all the time, unless you are in a close 6v6 or bombing - then swap it for Revenge.
