I hesitated before writing this post because I imagine both the work required for these modifications of the RVR and the disappointment that it may be to see that it is a failure.
but my question is because it is a failure, when you think of going back to the previous version of the rvr with the supply and a system that contant I think a good part of the player.

we see in the picture the WB afk while the fort is under attack.
this new system seems to have reduced the playing field and the multiple swatches that one could have in the previous version.
the actions :
- Afk Bo / farm of afk BO
- Strong attack (which requires a mini wb)
with this system it seems to me that one excludes the casual / solo, since more displacement (with the resources for example or because of the direct TP BO) and concentration of the battles on the BO before a faction builds a zerg.
in consequence the principle of winning the RR has nothing to do to me seems not logical and not very glorifying. as well as killing afk ... what glory ... and I do not think that is the spirit of this game.
personally I play solo a lot, or in small group of dwarf, what are our options.
solo:
I am a tank, time to kill an afk widely waking others and seen my dps ... I'm not sure about killing this afk if he does not attaque a little.
so I can not attack from BO, I still have to defend a BO.
in Group :
we could attack the BO in the day but unfortunately we work and we can group it mainly in the evening where there are more players and we find it with too much player on the BO if we are not in premade (6 what happens to us 1 times a week) we still have to defend BO and participated in the zerg or the def
it 's the end of the roam!

What i see :
Orders holding a BO (for Nothing : no contrib) during their keep is attacked.
I don't understand where exactly you see an issue in the mechanics Hogun.
We haven't modified the way mounts are working or replaced players brain
...

new rvr system isn't finished yet. for a proper feedback, we have to wait.
first and biggest problem of rvr is : there is no big goal for pushing/defending zone which can't be fixed yet[aka cities]. rvr is all about endless kill farming atm.
second problem: there is no motivation for people to defend a keep. loser bag is a thing yes, but if you're a casual pug you never get a loser/winner bag anyways. a juicy def tick "might" motivate some people.

if there is another way of moving as the TP to avoid doing this kill on the way, the players always take it.
only the premades roam, which kills the chance to have fun in roam unless you are yourself in premade. others use tp or zerg beacause they havent raison dont use other way

I understand your frustration, but I also remember the times when T4 was not yet released and there was another issue called - warcamp afking (oh the glorious days in High Pass when half of the population went afk when things started to go bad)
It's honestly the same thing, the difference is they are risking getting killed on a BO and in a warcamp they would be safe.
You can't change people mindset, they will afk, wherever possible if they see they are overwhelmed, and if they can profit from it even by gaining 1 Renown every 6 seconds they will do that.
