Does anyone have any opinions or advice on playing choppa's

One of the regrets that I have is that I never got to play and level a choppa toon when I subbed

So I see this as my chance to rectify that so I was wondering if some of you could give me some advice on the class protips, tactics, mentality that kinda stuff

I remeber that choppas had a really weak aoe tree and that in a majority of the cases slayers were much better than choppas

Also why would you want to pick them over mdps tanks?

Should I focus on ws skill gear or toughness/wounds items

Choppas die really fast you better have some healer friends :D

meed to have a guard truly stickked 100% time that know how to assist (it does not mean having a dps tank but being able to switch fast target), so he can snare and you can kill.
Understand when de-taunt you need to do that, never use charge before being in melee use it most of time for escape or finish player, always stick with self heal path, always use dual weild, use Nerfed buttom for da soft spot, learn when drop rage, never use endless rage tactic, boost strengh/ wep skill if suffer from being hit hard boost a little wouds/parry ( parry should at least be on 40% anyway)

pros
-Is the funniest melee dps of both faction
-GREENSKIN have best skill names in game
-always better in 1 vs 1 than slayer
- have a + 25% crit damage tactics that stack with a 25-50% damage increase.
-best looking medium armor in game
-even if mara is better choppa is more easy to play and have a constant burst
-can be set up single and do still nice damage on aoe

Con
-bad aoe tree
-slayer tools are all better and un-nerfed
-cannot cut trough tank easily like slayer
-you will do single target the damage that slayer can do aoe when there are zerg
-as his meccanic said you will be realy sguigshy
-no game break skill (like pull, or explosive rune etc)

about play off tank no there is no viable option in game that let you do damage on a tank as if you were a dps, if you wanna see damage roll a dps

Melee suffers a lot from the current Guard Bug. Especially Slayers/Choppas with their Mechanic.

The class itself was in a good state the last time I played with Adell on Ulfv back when Guard was working properly.
You can always try, but unless you have a pocket healer I would advise against Melee atm.

You can probably use NB to play the game for you by swapping your main attack out for GFDSS if NB detects you're behind the enemy.

You don't even need a conditional. Just put it as the first ability in the chain. It will use it when the ability is lit.
Conditionals are mainly for things like sundering chop checking if blindside is enabled on wl.

I won't be surprised if Azarael will break NB somehow :)
