[RP] Gearing up

Hi!

Im fresh 40, and so far I have

Full Annihilator
2 pieces of beastlord (working on pocket)
3 pcs Winds Impervious
belt from elf t4
Spoiler:
Runesash of hatred
23 will
5 tough
21 init
74 resistances
2% reduction in being critical hit
Staff from dwarf t4
Spoiler:
Bloodfist runestaff
54 will
24 wounds
3 morale per sec
2% heal crit
30 healing power
So what should be my upgrade path? For armor Conq seems like obviuos choice, but for other pieces I have no idea.

And what about gems? Despite of me running armor tactics Im still melting when being focused, but I'm still experimenting with RR, so that could be the case.

Hey, im in a very similar spot as you.

I suggest that you can try to do more RVR to get the subjugator weapons , but that staff is really good so you dont need to be too worried.

The only logical next step is conq there is no other stepping stone for us, BL isnt really good for us unless you use only the 3p.

You can get more of the imperious warrant from the RVR bags for the icons which will be a upgrade to you i believe.Try to get blue/green bags for the genesis jewelry which are 'endgame' items.

Talismans wise i tend to favor willpower more instead of armor.i go for a glass cannon healing build which works pretty good because i feel that in scens if i get jumped by a WH , our 3 min CD will save me.If in ORVR im jumped by a whole bunch of guys in my 6 man we lose anyway.

What's your desired spec? What do you feel you are lacking, is it healing power? DPS? survivability? There are many ways of gearing up and before you start looking for gear decide what would support your build and way of playing the most (ex. if you feel you are lacking survivability merc set might be the way to go, or dominator but there are no stats for this set on Wiki so hard for me to say, also slotting armor talis might help living through melees)

a massive amount of healing power is lost if anni or conq is not used unfortunately and this will translate to a loss in healing utility because the 25 percent increased healing will not proc if there are no crits on target.

For RP Spec I would go for:
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=rp; ... 6:;0:0:0:0

For RP Gear I would go for Full Annihilator/Full Conq and the Weapon I would go for Subjagator/Apostle's Runestaff of Glory [LvL40/RR40 SC Weapon] and Beastlord Book,Cloak and Jewelry and 3 Genisis Jewelry if you have and if not Winds of the Imperious Jewelry. The Belt that I would use would be either Conq one or the T4 one [Runesash of Hatred].

For talis it depends on what you're trying to go for. Two simple options being armor or willpower. Stacking armor is the safer bet and is helpful if you like to play 6v6 or scs in general vs that destro melee train. It tends to be what people recommend when I see people asking in /advice.

I like to stack willpower because saving pugs gives me warm fuzzy feelings. It can be unforgiving and it forces you to pay attention to your surroundings, but that just makes it more fun for me.

I've seen great RPs running both.
