I can recommend this: LoC (cos it non CD and in case of auto cleanse can be easily reapplied), RG, AP drain (depends on the enemy class), StW, TF, Law of Age, Rain Lord (both debuffs are dependent), Storm of Cronos (if target already in range), Rad.Lance, Fury of Asuryan, Seering Touch.
Somewhere between that skills, you can use heals, cleanses, MoM etc - depend on situation.
Bretin: "destru classes are in general better for solo play"

thanks for advice.

I seem to be killed in 2 globals if a steather jumps me. i use all toughness tali's. What can i do to help stave them off so I can get to cast a second spell ?

Or is this just how it is ?

Wounds > Toughness, toughness mitigation is negible below 500-600 and barely worth the investment in any case, especially with low armor values (keep in mind WE don't give a damn about armor anyways).
Wounds gives healers a chance to keep you alive, and yourself a chance to to pop HP pots/detaunts/bubbles/puddle/punt - running around with sub 5k HP while most non-detaunted dps classes push that much within a kd duration is not really feasible.
I'd suggest you constantly keep moving if you can, and only really stand still for the few seconds it takes to cast ~ telegraph that you pay attention, even if it is not the case; most dps rather jump the stationary squishy than the moving one, make sure to not blindly backpaddle if jumped, give your (pug) group a chance to react, move toward tanks (if they aren't with the entire enemy frontline) and hope they toss guard or atleast a snare/CC of sorts.

TLDR: Group play > general awareness and positioning; prekiting > stats.

If you wanna be real technical there are 2 different rotations for DPS AM dependant on your position in the fight:

1) You are in need of quick dmg to kill 1-2 targets.
Law of Age (if you have the time to do it, if a MDPS is rushing at you don't) -> Storm of Cronos -> Transfer Force -> Law of Conduct. -> Radiant Gaze -> Ap Drain -> Heal Debuff -> Radiant Lance (only if you think you will need that extra dps and have the range to do it, if a MDPS is up in your face then don't bother) -> Fury of Asuryan (or Silence if the target is a caster DPS or a healer [note that a good geared or even not the best geared, but good healer will have you detaunted so the chances of you killing him are low]) -> Searing Touch. You could also use Dissipating Energies right before a MDPS is about to close the range on you.

2) You know you are in a good spot and can waste the extra GCDs to make sure all your hexes don't get cursed.
Law of Age -> Rain Lord -> Law of Age again if it got cleansed. -> Rinse and repeat as above.

If you see that stealther stealthing up, drop your detaunt on him before he disappears so his/hers initial burst is cut by half. Also you might wanna try dropping 2 dots on him instead and if RNG gods are with you, it might pop him/her out of stealth. If not do as I mentioned above and hot+shield yourself.

Dont think of a set rotation. Think of Pressure rotation, Set Up and Burst.
The key is to keep pressure up until you have a burst opportunity.
AP steal should take priority over any dots as pressure depends on AP. Keeping yours denying theirs.
Spirit Debuff should be put on initially between the two shorter dots as it brings their ticks closer together.
Finish it with Toughness Debuff.

DM > TF > LoC > StW > SoC > RG > LoA

Then its a matter of keeping the pressure on. If its having little effect - switch
You need to try to predict when you need to burst. It could be half way through applying dot rotation.

Burst depends on the situation.

If you dont need burst to push them to 0 right now start with a setup.
Start with DE aura if you can.
Then StW if its not on.
Silence if healer.

DE > StW > Silence

The Burst options depend on the situation.

If M2 is up you can spam RL. Taking an AP pot at this point helps.
Full burst is the usual RL > FoA > ST
I also like to use just FoA > one single tick of ST if kiting as it requires you to be stationary for just 1s.

Ive always done well thinking of it like 3 phases and switching to the correct one.

thanks both thats great advice. I dont have some of the spells as yet being a lowbie, but trying Shaggy roatation I'm having much better time of it so thanks a lot for that )

Should I dump my touch tali for wounds ? I dont resally do group play (do SC's count as group ?), mainly zerg/warband.

a good mix of int, wounds and maybe 1 armor might be good, but mostly focus on int/wounds
