Server Login Time Out

I can get in to the game with no problem. Once I try to select the server Martyrs Square, however, I get

Entering the fray...
Connecting to server...
Handshaking...
Logging In...
Login timed out.

I don't know what to do from here. Please help me.

It's been two days with no response, so I'm commenting here again hoping that someone can help me out.

check if your firewall is blocking the program or try running as administrator.

It's being run as an administrator and the firewall is currently off.

then i suggest maybe trying hotspot shield, or using the files linked here (http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... f=4&t=2015). it's a really common problem that a lot of people (including me) have had, i believe mine resolved on its own

server has been acting up lately so maybe you're just unlucky, i've seen a bunch of different fixes for this so keep trying

Thank you for the link. I'll give those files a shot.

(I had to go back and edit that before I submitted. Apparently my subconscious wanted to write something close to shot, but different.)

It was a good recommendation. Unfortunately I think I may just be unlucky. Replacing the files didn't work for me. It would seem I'm destined to eternally search for allies.
