Connection Actively Refused (Launcher)

Hey All,

Getting the below error after launching the Launcher:

Code: Select all

Could not connect to Login server
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 46.105.54.77:8000
   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(IPAddress[] addresses, Int32 port)
   at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(String host, Int32 port)
   at RoRLauncher.Client.Connect()

Have been for ~30 minutes now. Login Server showing read, clicking 'Connect' does nothing. Ran the NetSH commands in the sticky and rebooted my computer; still a no-go. Had the updated WAR.exe in place, but swapped back to the old one and still getting the error (guess that wouldn't have made a difference, as it's not getting past the launcher).

I was playing before, but my game crashed (some runtime error, didn't screenshot) and I've had this issue since then.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Welp, just saw the posts from the last few minutes in the server status thread. Guess it was restarted!

At the moment the server seems to be down/restarting.

However, from time to time the RoR server rejects IPs, for whatever reason.
You can reset your IP; cmd -> ipconfig /release -> ipconfig /renew.

Thanks for taking a look guys. I'll give it some time and if it's still an issue after the status is back up, I'll try and pull another WAN IP and see if that does the trick.

Same issue. Firewall exceptions fine. Tried my VPN as well, no luck.

Server is down
