Quick question:
Purple bags should contain a subjugator cloak or weapons. Has anyone received anything but a duplicate on a particular character as of late?

Re: ORVR Purple bags
I keep getting subjagator cloaks as duplicates but I mainly chalk it up to rng.
Re: ORVR Purple bags
Yes. I've gotten nothing but subj. cloaks (3? maybe) on a tank (so 4 different subj items I could get) then I got a 2h weapon a couple of days ago. Duplicates suck but I think it's safer to assume bad luck than some inexplicable bug that makes certain characters never get the subjugator item they want when others get everything they need with few or no duplicates.
Generally speaking the sample sizes are too small to chalk it up to anything but RNG. But who knows, maybe there's a bug, or maybe certain pieces have a higher chance of dropping than others.

Re: ORVR Purple bags
Loot tables show all the things where they are supposed to be for each tier.
Re: ORVR Purple bags
I know wrong post, but is there any chance of implementing for purple bags some kind of coin/token system so you can use those to get what you are missing. I had to go through 10+ purple bags for my SM to get the 2h weapon. Shield I think was the one that popped through 4 purple bags in a row.

Re: ORVR Purple bags
Clearly that wouldn't be impossible. We've decided a long time ago that's not how we want that loot to be distributed. Despite this same question being asked dozens of times since then, the answer is still a no.Thamor wrote:I know wrong post, but is there any chance of implementing for purple bags some kind of coin/token system so you can use those to get what you are missing. It is, for some people, one more difficult to acquire piece of completion for a given character. Or you get lucky and 1-2-3 them. Both have their own payoffs in emotional investment.
Tokens are boring.
Re: ORVR Purple bags
On my latest char I got 3 different from 3 bags and when I played my shamy I got wep after 10+ bags so just luck
Re: ORVR Purple bags
Warhammer always was a game where you could not work towards something in an efficient and structured way in rvr, that can make your life exciting or frustrating. I you do not like that i would focus on scenarios for armor and weapons.

T4 gearing is pretty horrible.
You cannot work toward gearing yourself out as nothing you do matters.
You can tell right away who has their gear and who doesnt when you fight people as it makes that much of a difference. Its a pretty bad design for a competitive game, but thats my opinion. Between lost bags on zone crashes after a 3 hour time investment, random dice rolls for bags when the zone doesnt crash and getting duplicate pieces when you finally get a bag...its just a really bad return for the time invested.
I find myself playing less every week.

I am on the same boat as you rightnow @toadwart.I feel like playing is worthless after a lot of time spent for literally nothing at all...then playing for 10 mins a different char and getting a golden bag.
I find it kind of annoying.
