Using knockbacks

By now we know knock backs are bugged. They punt too far or send people across the zone etc. The self punt abilities tend to offer the most hilarious results. Rumors are circulating that we are not supposed to use the KBs. Last night someone on order threatened to bring in their bugged dazzling strike SMs if destro didn't stop using KB. Are we not supposed to KB now or what?

Unless you hear from a known staff member character that you are not supposed to use a feature of the game, use it.

Knockbacks are not forbidden.

Abuse of Dazzling Strike, especially when made as a threat, is.

I'm pretty sure, that the use of knockbacks is not an exploit per definition. I was told, that the issue with knockbacks atm, is a bug with the z-axis calculation.
Using a bugged skill that oneshots everything and everyone is something completely different.
Btw the normal (unbugged) M1 knockback feels like the one from the original server to me. :)

Edit: The tyrant was faster...

It is. The values sent are the exact same values Mythic sent for Mage Bolt and Point-Blank.

What other knockbacks exist besides "normal (unbugged) M1 knockbacks"? Thought those are the only KB in T1?
Dying is no option.

Was altered in the shadow warrior balance (some would say easymode) patch.
