Not sure if this was the right forum or not..is there a plan to change how the stealth mechanic is?
Specifically talking about the WE and the WH , where being stealthy is all about them getting the upper hand, and its always been silly that, you get punished for being a stealther, stealing AP over a period of 30 seconds..and then, having a 30 second CD after you exit stealth, leaving you extremely vulnerable... and of course this was also on live.
No other game punishes a stealther by stealing their AP/Energy bar(in some games), and neither do they punish you with a half a minute CD to re-use stealth..(that I have played so far)
Would it be possible , to not punish the WE or WH and make stealth permanent, but remain a 30 second CD? or remove the silly AP steal and make the CD much lower?
They already are lethal, and it wouldn't change them one bit...its not like you're changing dmg or even making them into godmode.
That's my take and view on them.
Logically speaking..if Stealthers are punished for being stealthy by the AP drain..then perhaps we should punish healers for healing.

You've miss the point. Entirely...point is..WE and WHs get punished big time to go into stealth. and have to worry about AP loss, and 30 second of stealth...
Logically speaking again..lets punish healers..for every time they use a heal..not only do they lose the AP to cast it..they lose AP after a few seconds per heal..now that would be punishment.
But I wonder..why would you only select that portion , and then try to make your case?
Instead of clipping out what , take in all of what ive said entirely...
You know what I mean. So..i ask...and not only to you, but any who read this..
and many who play WE or WHs , im pretty sure they get tired of the AP drain and the 30 second stealth..taht defeats the purpose of being a stealther..

What's wrong with a stealther doing their job? What's wrong with perma invis? they still expose themselves to attack...the point is for them not to be seen..that's any stealther.
and as for the post..i didn't know where else to put the suggestion..
But , as for your no..could you explain why you don't like perma invis? what about other changes? Or are you so opposed to this idea, that a WH or WE could come out of no where, without you knowing or seeing them, and that bugs you?

They should also make it an instant cast and give them a vanish ability so they'll be better at ganking lowbies.
This game has a lot of risk reward built into it- sounds like you want all reward and no risk to balance things out

they already gank lowbies period, lol, that's a total deflection and doesn't explain or answer anything as to what I mentioned..thats a mere excuse....
So should healers have a risk and reward to them then? Lets talk about this risk and reward stuff..
All in all..nothing would change. you'd still have to pick your targets. You just have more time to do so and take your time. And you wouldn't have to rush in , and hopefully you get to your target in time..otherwise..you're left with 1/2 AP and 30 CD till your next stealth..so..

I would make stealth more tactical - it is far too easy ro restealth in combat.

I agree, Bowldancer..its too easy to restealth in combat. I believe that should be change. But I don't agree with the 5 second cast..that's way too long..and that's longer than a BW or Sorc main DD spell..that's almost too unreasonable..that 2 second cast is long enough, and it does reset on dmg I think? I could be wrong, but any dmg after you stealth is taken, automatically removes you from stealth..like dots and what not.
So, explain how a 5 second cast would make stealth more "tactical" , other than what I agreed on about stealthing in combat..

Sure and lets add a 65 AP cost onto your stealth ability that has ZERO activation cost. (65 ap cost is for group heal, your stealth makes you invisible to multiple targets, only fitting). Also we are going to have to remove that CORE ap cost reduction on all of your finishers since we are balancing you towards healers and their ap even though the mechanics are entirely different. To address all of your post, stealth is designed to be different in this game. So stop comparing it to other games. Stealth is a positioning tool utilized by your class to assist in killing your target. You have an aoe detaunt that lasts a full 15s, a root/snare immunity, and a self-knockback to assist you in fleeing from an engagement when your target's allies decide to come kill you. Also stealth as currently implemented gives you the upperhand as you suggested it should, it comes at the cost of using it at the correct time to minimize your loss (aka skill)
