Game crashes shortly after start

Hi, I've just managed to install the launcher and i cant wait to play my all time favorite game!

Unfortunately the game crashes after approx 20 sec. I switched windows antivirus off to check if that is the problem but no success.

I'm not particularly familiar with windows as I've been using a mac for the last 10 years so please be patient with me

The game seems to work for a few minutes but crashes whenever I encounter another player.

1. Log in
2. I´m in my capital right now, will try to get out of it if i can. (Altdorf)

I am in Nordland empire tier 1, I’m not able to fly elsewhere to see if that improves things as I’ve only just started.

Start by disabling your addons. You can do this by renaming your Interface folder to something else and creating a new one that is empty. Then add a couple at a time until you find the culprit.

Thanks for the reply but I don’t have any addons running.
The sound is also glitchy, not sure if it’s related?
