Authentication Error?

Has the authentication error issue been resolved, I am really excited to play Warhammer age of Reckoning (Return of reckoning) however I kept getting this error and wanted to know if there was a way to fix this now

oh error is "Authentication Failed -- application will now terminate"

Things I have found
- You can play if you remove the "Read-only" check box on the folder and all files, and get to log in fast enough before your PC brings it back to "Read only" (However once this is done you may not be able to exit unless you "End task" on task manager) I am an administrator in my laptop however whatever I do, even if i change ownership of the folder the whole thing just keeps coming back to "Read-Only".
-doesn't have aything to do with my anti virus
