[Chosen] Advice for lvling Solo

I spoke about this before in another thread, but my Chosen is lvl 16, I don't know anyone in the game since I'm just starting so I'm solo. I was told before to put points in Corruption to increase my toughness and use Warped Flesh, but is there any other advice anyone could give to help me on my way to become a use soldier of Chaos?

Also, on my Tactic slots, I have Warped Flesh in the first slot, but other two say, "Renown Tactics" and "Tome Tactics" where do I get these?

Those two type of tactics are not implemented yet. You unlock 1 Carrier tactic every 10 level.
The more you arvance the more you will unlock tactics aswell. At your level focus on tougjness and strengh depending you wanna doing more dmg or be tankier
Regardless dont neglet avoidances(block parry dodge disrupt) even if you spec more offensive.
For mastery investiment discord allow more dmg and more magical resistence.
Left is usually not taken till higher gear cuz you require more survability. To go trought lv 16-31 discord-corruption may be better than other mix.

If you want more advice you need to ask for something more specific tought.

I do have a specific question. Withering Strike I think it's called, does using that on NPC mobs do anything, do they have action points or is it just a PvP ability?

They dont have AP and I think for the most part they dont use abilites. Also wounds debuffs are mostly pointless.

You can still use it but the AP drain isnt doing anything.

Another ability specific question, what is the difference between Cleave & Ravage, really? They do the same amount of damage, Ravage does Spirit dmg while Cleave seems to do physical dmg and is undefendable. For me, Ravage seems to do more dmg for less AP cause I"m using Discordant Instability to lower Resistances. Was wondering if there is more to it or it's just one is undefendable and the other isn't?

So my Chosen is lvl 22. I've yet to do any PvP in the game and was wondering if anyone who plays Chosen could give me advice on how to get in on it and my role as a Chosen in PvP. I'm still fairly new to this game, so I'm not sure how it's systems work. Is there any guilds in game I should look into who would be helpful in becoming a useful member of the faction?

Well, first of all I do not think pveing your way to 22 was a good idea.

Skipping 1-15 pvp is not good for a new player. There you have basically an equal field with most players and can experience the first steps both in mass and small scale pvp.

I am no chosen, but your role as a tank is protecting your party members, be it using Guard or simply with your CC and snares.
To facilitate your work as a tank with GUARD I suggest you download ENEMY add on and play around with it to understand what it does. You will need it to more easily see where is your guarded target on the field and to swap the guard to other party members.
Without it it's a **** mess.

Try to queue up for scenarios (mid tier 16-30 isn't very active when it comes to scenarios), or just join a war and for RvR and see how it goes.
If u feel lost, I would suggest u roll another class u enjoy and experience 1-15 scenarios/rvr, to see what the hell is going on. And then go back to your Chosen.

Yes Bert there are areas on each map that have what are known as RvR lakes. In Tier 1 level 1-16 and then once level 16 you get bolstered stats so you can go play with the higher levels and take Keeps and capture zones
