Chosen VS BO

Just in general, which is the better tank or are they pretty much equal? I want a really tanky type after I lvl my healer.

Having played both to end game group play the biggest differences are the utilities they provide.

Punts: Black orc has an aoe punt, chosen has a high angle golf punt. The chosen punt is insanely better for small man and almost required as you can punt tanks away from guard targets and off structures. Chosen punts can win small scale fights by themselves probably strongest cc in the game. Black orc aoe knockback good on certain ledges and bridges however and has the potential for rambo moments.

Chosen: Aura system is generally superior to chain system and bellows of black orc: Being able to use skills when you need to instead of 1 gcd later is almost always better. Auras are always on even when you are using hold the line and not attacking or swapping guards while black orc buffs/debuffs/bellows require you to be attacking targets with high uptime or being attacked yourself.

Chosen has aoe wounds/toughness/resist debuff vs BO armor debuff + skull thumper
Black orc has some stat buffs/steals, but alot of these don't stack with pots/other buffs.

Chosen has high parry Black orc has more block.

Black orc has nice group utility with rock ard group shield, and waagh -5s c/d for group. Good with warband play with sorc bomb teams.

Chosen also has synergy with these same groups as auras buff his group and debuff resists/toughness/strength/ap of those around him.
