Pink Horror
Unholy Empowerment improves your range, and that of your daemon, by 5% per stack up to 5 stacks, to a max of 25% extra range

Flamer
Unholy Empowerment will stack when you are within 40 feet of your daemon (up from 30ft), and while between 41 to 80 feet of your daemon, you will neither gain nor lose Unholy Empowerment stacks
Daemon range is improved by 5% per stack to a max of 40%
Provided you have at least one Unholy Empowerment stack, you can use Path of Changing skills while moving
Each stack shortens the duration and tick interval of Path of Changing and Path of Daemonology DoTs by approximately 4% per stack to a maximum of 35%

Blue Horror
Unholy Empowerment will improve your change to Dodge and Disrupt by 4% per stack to a max of 32%, and also increases your daemon's chance to Dodge and Disrupt by 8% per stack to a maximum of 64%
Provided you have at least one Unholy Empowerment stack, you can use Path of Changing skills while moving
Stacks increase the radius of any of your AoE abilities on skills by 6.25% per stack to a max of 50%, increase your aoe cap by 2 per stack, but reduce your cast range by 5% per stack to a minimum of 60%

You use whatever pet you gonna benefit the most at the time, to be honest. A good magus use all three depending on the situation.

The pink is good if you need the extra range to keep safe or to snipe people from the walls or the keeps but that's the only thing it does.

Flamer is obviously good because it shorten the ticks in dots and allow you to use Changing abilites while moving so you can kite around if people jump on you.

Blue is a defensive pet that cuts your range but buffs your dodge/disrupt A LOT. You can use it to funnel doors or bridges but you'll need to keep close to the action. It also increases the radius of your AoE so you hit more people with Pandemonium, Glean Magic, etc.

In my opinion the Flamer overall is the best pet for Changing but by no means you should use only it.

Pink increases the cast range = from how far you can cast it.

Blue increases the radius = the area of people affected by it / Decreases the range = you need to get closer to cast it.

Make sure your pet have the habilities when you summon it, if you don't see the pet skills (bugged pet) then you lose a lot of damage (the pet does "half of the damage" and cast no skill).
8x -> Zealot
7x -> Magus, rSH, Sorcerer, Shammy Heal, mSH
6x -> Shammy dps
5x -> DoK , Wich Elf, Choppa, Chosen, BWizard
4x -> Mara
3x -> BG, Zealot dps
2x -> BO, 3rd Shammy

Blue pet for sure. WB play i prefeer Blue because it increase range of your pbaoe and the ammount of target hit with your Lash.
For ST i only use pinky. It resist debuff and increase your range. In pve the pet does 10-20% of your damage on bosses.
