Can someone explain forts to me?

Are they just the castles In rvr?

Those have been around forever, but from the way people are talking it sounds like “forts” are new.

Just coming back and trying to get caught up.

They are big keeps that are placed at the end of campaign. They give their own currency and have their own related set, Invader.

Each t4 rvr push starts at a neutral zone and goes to the next based on whoever wins the neutral zone. For example.

Fell Landing < Caledor < Dragonwake > Eataine > Shining Way

After locking the pairing t3 zone (in this case Avelorn/Saphery) the campaign moves into the t4 neutral zone: Dragonwake. If Order wins DW, the campaign pushes into caledor. If order wins again at Caledor, the campaign pushes into the Dark Elf fort, Fell Landing. Order players can join as the attackes and destro players can join as the defenders.

Now If destro wins DW the campaing pushes into eataine. If destro wins again at Eataine the campaing pushes into the High elf fort, Shining Way. Destro players can join as the attackers and order players can join as the defenders.

The same thing applies to Chaos/Empire and Dwarf/Greenskin.

Indeed, this is an excellent rundown.

To add, if you wish to participate in a FORT battle, I believe you need to be Renown Rank 40 and Character Rank 40.

hope they can make city siege works. iirc, back on live if one faction managed to win fort, it will open to next campaign which is city siege. So for order , they will have access to IC ( Inevitable City) and for Destro, they can enter Altdorf ( Empire Capital City). Too bad back on live , years ago, they hadn't even got the time to open Elven Capital City ( Lothern) and Dwarven capital (Karaz -a - Karak). Same thing with destro counter part ( Greenskin Capital City and Dark Elf capital city) I would love to see that in RoR, well if that's even possible.

I also got a Question for Phase 2.
What exactly is the benefit of the BOs?
As far as i understood the more BOs the attackers have, the less power the Lord have, right?
And the AE bombing the defenders is stronger?
Zeal80 - Dok82 - Sham74
BO81 - BG80 - WE75

and tooooo many alts
