Returning player: What has changed?

Hello guys, I wanted to play the game again, I left when the max lvl was 35 I believe. I played at chaos with a Marauder and a Squig Herder, did some forts but that was all.

What has changed since then? I can't remember when was the last time that I logged in, so, is there any patch log or an advice on what to do now that a lot of things have changed?

I would like to start from scratch now too, or should I keep playing my lvl 35 characters?

Thank you!

Depends on how long ago you last logged in. There was a character wipe of inactive accounts to open up names and space some time ago, not sure when precisely. You might want to check that they are still there first. Otherwise Mara is roughly the same and SH now has an actual melee tree.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

A lot of the classes have undergone substantial changes may be time try other out. Squig herder is now a lot better than it was and you either restart youre old or start a new one you will find the new mechanic much better. I play order so i know how much sh are a pain in the butt.
