I've just heard about this server and I'm currently downloading the client.
Here's my concern:
My brother is likely to join me if the game is going well and fun, as we used to play WAR together a few years ago. However, we live in the same house, share the same connection, and will be using the same IP.
I'm concerned about the multiboxing rule. Some games I've played on in the past would have problems with us sharing the same IP. Others would have more complicated requests such as having both people run in a figure 8 to prove both characters are being controlled by humans.
Will both of us connecting using the same IP address be a problem, or will there be some other way to prove that we're not multiboxing?

With the alpha state of the server, unless you're using a super T something ISP, you're bound to be playing with some pretty bad lag with both you on at once.

How much bandwidth does the game currently use?
Re: Question regarding multiple players on the same connecti
The lags aren't latency related, but server side. So your connection won't be the major factor to lags.
Re: Question regarding multiple players on the same connecti
I see. What's so special about two players on the same connection causing abnormal latency, then?

^ My brother and I have been playing games together for years, and we have never experienced any more lag than the next person tbh.
