problem with the launcher

I downloaded the installer and made it run, and it started a download of 16k something things, and after like 1 hour it got to 16k and then it kept going. I went to sleep and decided to let it go, hoping that it would stop itself at some point. I wake up, go to check on it and find that it got to 36k and then it stopped because of a connection problem. what should i do? restart the download? just start the launcher? The installer had alredy stopped for these "connection problems" before, but it had stopped at 8k, so i had thought nothing of it

Follow the download instructions I would say.
There it is recommended to download the game in a different way. Ie use a torrent downloader
