Launcher issues.

So I am playing the game and today, I take 3 steps with my character and it kicks me back to the launcher. I log in, take 3 steps, boom, out the the login page. I reboot and now the launcher icon is blank, no image. I double click on the launcher and it takes me to the login screen. I click connect and it hangs. Normally to correct this I reinstall the game, but that is a whole other travesty. What is going on and can a developer please explain why this happens? As a side note, right before this, the audio was all messed up. I could only hear squeaks and buzzing.
